i am at work. i do not want to do anything to do with work. i am here for two more hours. i am at my desk bored. please give me some ideas of what to do. it has to be quiet, though.

Honey, I WAS in the same position a couple of weeks ago!! My company is close to being shut down and I was so depressed that I would just go to Yahoo! Answers all day! That's where I got most of my points. I was bored to death!
It seems you're doing something ALREADY to keep yourself entertained! Count paperclips! LOL. I don't know! I asked the same thing everyday towards the end of the day!
Be careful with the computer usage!!

bbb: Somewhere in the area of 80% of all the workers in the world hate what they do for a living... you are most likely bored because you are not working in an area of strength for you rather an area of weakness.
Go to:http://www.personality-power-for-everyday-living.com and take the free Myers-Briggs test there then while you there you can find a perfect career matche based upon your type...after that you can discover how to get into the new field.

You had better work on your 'resume' because if you are 'bored' at work and don't want to 'do your work' while you are at work, you are not going to have that job for very long ...

- go into art and paint a portrait of your boss, cc: it to him
- go out for a while
- cc: weird jokes to your boss
- call people on your phone
- play games on your cell phone
- listen to your iPod
- figure out what's for dinner tonight
- take sudoku with you to work
- email your friend at the desk next to you
- leave the office early, your bodd isn't going to notice
