I got this in an email from a girl friend. I am a guy, and we have had a very flirty relationship since I sent her an ecard to tell her how much I care about her for Valentine's Day. She told me pieces of her life story and some thoughts that seemed aimed. She then said this:

"Ok, I didn't mean to ramble on like that; but you asked me about my life, and those thoughts just came...out! now, i must say that i am very interested in hearing anything you have to tell me about yours. So please, whatever you want to share, feel free to do so."

What does she mean by that?

I think it's mean that she trust you, and what's to know things about you.

It sounds as though she is a little embarrassed and feeling vulnerable because she poured out her heart a little bit. That is never an easy thing to do and after you do it there is a bit of panic. She is asking you to share to "level the playing field". It sounds like you really like her and she answered and wants you to share with her so she obviously likes you. Talk to her, don't be afraid to ask.... What does this mean? Good luck.

Don't try to think too hard. Just take it as is. I guess your girl friend told you much about her life. When someone tells someone about their life, that means that she/he is much confortable with you. Which is a very good thing. Now, your girl friend is asking you to tell her more about your life, which means she would like to get to know you.

She wants to know a little about you! Share some facts that you might not tell a lot of people. Also, if her stories were deep and personal (my uncle committed suicide, for example) try to share something that's equally heavy and sad. But if her stories were funny and light-hearted, try something like that.

She wants you to share some things about your life with her, just like she shared with you. Its the beginning of a relationship, and this part is called intimacy.
