I'm not quite sure what you mean but what I think what you are asking is what is the customary tip for employees. The customary tip is 15 to 20 percent. Therefore, on a $20 dollar tab the tip should be $3 to $4. The tip however, is not mandatory in most restaurants unless it is a party of 6 or more and there is only one ticket. Other tipped employees such as sky caps, beauticians, barbers, cab drivers etc. is usually about 10 or 15 percent .
