I really don't want Bonds to break Aaron's record. Not only is he a cheater, but he's an a#@hole. Nobody likes him, players, coaches, fans...You hear negatives about him from everyone. Dusty Baker and Jeff Kent were with him for years and neither of them want anything to do with him. When he played for the Pirates, most of them didn't like him either.
Read Game of Shadows.
However, he will probly get his goal before Sosa, unless Sammy trained hard and is making some serious contact where Texas will put him on the roster.

Most likely Sammy. Ron Washington is gonna give him every chance to make the roster because Texas needs a big bat at DH. He also has fewer Home Runs to go than Bonds.
Also, Bonds will likely not get pitched to much. He's approaching THE hallowed record in all sports and alot of teams will pitch around him in spite.

Smart money's on Sammy, provided he makes the roster. He's got a better chance of being pitched to than Bonds and he only needs 12 dingers. Barry, provided he doesn't get nicked by the feds, needs 22 and his knees aren't as good as Sammy's.

Bonds, no doubt. Sosa has been out of the league too long, and Barry was rounding into form toward the end of the season last year.

Sammy appeared till now the congressional committee, so some distance no one has come forward and reported they witnessed Sammy doing roids or hgh, thinking Sammy's growth over the years as against Canseco, Bonds and Mcgwire, i could have self assurance he did no longer do them

I wouldnt be surprised if Ryan Howard got to 600 before Sammy Sosa.
That said, Bonds might be able to pull off 756...

Sammy I think he's going to do really good this year.Bonds will get hurt first,Sammy is in better shape.And Sammy didn't cheat.
