Its one of the blue looking disks on the back, instead of the silver regular ones... When we put it in, it makes some crazy noises and wont even come up. And yes, its new. And yes, it has no scratches. My boyfriend suggested I ask here, instead of embaressing him at Game Stop. Thanks!

Your SIM's game is probably broken. I recommed exchanging or returning it.

First of all, have you recently used a CD lens cleaning disc on your PS2? If not give it a shot BEFORE you attempt to play the game again. If that doesn't work, take it to a friend who has a PS2 and see if it works on their system. If it doesn't work on their system, then take it back, show the shop what it's doing and get a new disc already! If they refuse your request, then take them to court for it!

Your PS2 might be messed up or it could be that the game is scratched bad.

mine did that, put a small piece of tape on each side of the center of the disc, it will play!

google this if you need some more info on this, it will not damage your PS2
