I grew up with alcohol-triggered beatings, lectures, yelling and screaming, ridiculous punishments, constantly being put-down, etc. Yet I feel lucky--I was never sexually abused--that would have been worse than all the rest combined.

I've heard alot, too many to list, which shows how sick the world is. But there's this book based on a true story, it has three parts, and it's about a little boy growing up in an abusive family and dealing with it. It also shows him growing up, but in a bad envirmoent. Right now, the man the book is based on is living a normal life. The book is called The boy named "it". You should check it out. Even I have been through some stuff that's not good, not at home but at school. But I recommend the book and you'll find something for psychology.

the book Justin talks about is actually called "A Child Called It" and there are several sequels as well.

i was sexually abused. i think thats sad to anyone who has ever been in that situation.
