Gain 30 more pounds, and you could be a Jason Taylor kind of defensive end. You could be 7' 3", 375lbs, run a 4.10 40 yard dash, and be able to bench an SUV, but if you cant play football, it doesnt matter, although I bet you wouldnt have a tough time in getting somebody to pick you up and teach you how to play, at that size.

Bottom line, can you play football?

I may be just too NFL-oriented, but I cant see you playing DE at a high level at only 235 (with a height of 6'6"). I'd suggest putting on some weight, while trying to maintain that speed (hell...actually you don't have to try THAT hard-- the best 40 for DL this year at the combine was 6.64 and that was really fast for a DE).

However, since we're talking interest, I think colleges would find you appealing since they know you could build muscle w/college level lift programs.

If what you say is true then I could see colleges looking at you, if you have the talent to match your abilities listed above. I don't think you would be a DE though unless you where able to gain at least 20 pounds. With your speed you could maybe play some outside linebacker or they might make you a TE if you can catch the ball, and show the desire to learn a new position. College teams look for talent they can mold and fit into their program. So your other stats like Bench and stuff come into play.

If you like to play Defense end and you can can lift and hit, then you would probably be a great DE, or even an outside linebacker for teams that like to run a 3-4 defense instead of a 4-3 standard like the Chargers. You would be good on teams that have a small fast defense like Auburn or Florida, but hey come down to Nebraska and play for us we'd like you here ha ha.

For any major college program as a DE, NO, to light. Maybe a LB. Unless you might be looking at a division 2 or 3 college then maybe a DE but even there you'd be seriously outweighed as a DE versus almost any OL.

at that size and speed, I would put you in at free safety. How well did your school do during the year, did you attract the attention of any scouts? Are your grades good enough to sustain a university look? If you have dvd/tape of your performances (and you are a star standout) you can certainly send them to head coaches. You might look at Div II schools as a place to break into college football. Good luck.

Probably. However, make sure you only try for a football schollarship with "football schools", like OU, TSU, ect. Just make sure that when scouts come to your game(s), you've gotta play at 300%. Push yourself to the absolute limit.

Depends on your stats man. Your 40 speed is good, By colleges, D1 would be tough, but if your stats are good enough, I'm sure they would. It just depends on if you perform on the field.

You have a good size...how old are you? just because you are the right size, don't mean your good enough. but your size would be good if you can be tough. I would study tape of Alex Brown and Anderson from the bears...good luck
