I want to get this done for a vacation, and the last thing I need is ingrown hairs all over the place. If you do get ingrown hairs, how long after the waxing do they show up?

Use this product called Tend skin after you get waxed and every other day afterward it helps combat ingrown hairs.

i waxed for years and ingrown hairs were such a problem i simply gave up and shave again! you can buy products that you apply after waxing that supposedly lessen the occurence of ingrown hairs but i never found them particularly effective, if you only to plan to wax as a one off for a holiday, my advice is to get it done about a month before you go, see what happens and then have it done again just before your holiday, waxing can also leave red blotchy marks so best to see if this happens to you well before your holiday

exfioliate really good before the wax and 2 day after and you should be fine. Just think about when you shave there also do you get a lot of ingrown when you shave?
