hade a great time
made allot of friends
the pro's
meeting people
cheap acomidations[bring a tent]
cheap travel
finding some very cool off the path place
con's
lots of waitin' for rides
sunburns
scary people[crack heads]
hunger
lack of bathrooms
but in all
i had a great time
and i would do it again if the oppertunity
presented itself
bring a friend for safety
or not

I have hitch hiked many times some small distances and some long and so have a lot of my friends. and ill tell you it is a fun experience. but it can be dangerous, so be careful if you decide to. I usually carry a knife for protection. But don't let that scare you I have never had a bad experience, and i have hitch hiked over 700 miles at a time. The worst thing about it is sleeping. You have to find places to sleep in the wood and hide from cops because the will harass you all the time. but they just run your name to check for warrants. so be safe and have fun. Oh ya always to hitch out of truck stops and not city's, truck stops have a lot of travelers whom may be going long distances.

Hitch Hiking is EXTREMELY dangerous. You are likely to end up dead or molested. Don't do it - Take the bus or a train.

I can't think of any pros about hitchhiking, but there is one con I can emphasize: You will never know who you get in the car with. With that said, always trust your instincts, because hitchhiking is nothing more than a risk, and you will never know what will happen until it happens. Use your feet instead.

experts- you get to work out the country. maximum rides may well be loose. you are able to fulfill some exciting human beings. Cons- you're able to die. you are able to fulfill loopy human beings. Ever seen observed? i'm confident it occurs someplace. no well worth it.

pros's - free travel.company. no driving. sleep while on the move.meet new people. cons - every car you flag down could have a psycho driver. you could be dead in seconds
