yes, there are some people who been part of the gay community for so long but they relaize that it was a phase for them and they want the opposite sex but dont know how to say cuz they are embarassed at what the gay community will say about them.

I think so, maybe not "closet", but that's close. I have a friend that will tell anyone that she is lesbian (hits on girls asks for numbers), and I think she does like girls a little, but she's always sneaking around w/ other peoples boyfriends. They're never single men always married or in a long term relationship! I don't think she even realizes this, but I think she puts on the gay front because she is insecure which is why i think all the men she sleeps with are taken, and all the women never get past one or two dates with her.

I don't know if this has ever happened, but I can only think of one circumstance under which it might. If two gay people adopt a child together, the child may feel uncomfortable being straight, because his or her adoptive parents are gay. So in theory, the child is in the closet, because he or she has not told his or her parents about his or her true feelings towards the opposite sex.

Not really.
99.99% of advertisements, shows, discussions etc. promote heterosexism, so what would they have to hide, or fear getting assaulted about? They get supported in their natural inborn sexual orientation every day 24/7.

You mean a straight person hiding their sexuality and pretending to be gay? I've never heard of that before.

twelve is right. We don't get beaten, harassed & killed for being straight but unfortunately the gay community can not say the same

No. Heterosexuality is the 'norm' in society. They are not required to 'hide' at all.
