This is a classical sign of a virus / hacker / spyware.

Let me guess... you're using Internet Explorer and have no firewall? Anti-virus is either outdated or not installed?

It happens.

Time to clean out and secure your computer!

Cleaning:

Grab Spybot Search & Destroy ( http://www.spybot.info/en/mirrors/index.html ) and install it. Update it and run it. Remove all of what it finds. You'll also want to go into the Immunize section and do that as well.

Next, grab ClamWin ( http://www.clamwin.com/ ) and install it. Update it and run it. Remove all of what it finds.

Grab Ccleaner ( http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ ) and install it. Run it and look through what it finds. Remove most or all of it.

Ok, after all of this, your computer should be relatively clean - you'll want to get in the habit of doing these scans every week or so.

We're not done yet! Next step is securing your computer.

You NEED a firewall. The one from Microsoft is not enough. Zonealarm is free and quite good ( http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp )

Now... the last and one of the biggest tips I can give you:
Use Firefox! ( http://getfirefox.com/ ) It's fast, free, safe, secure, blocks pop-ups and most importantly for you - it doesn't let in nasties like Internet Explorer does.

What I, personally, like best about Firefox is the add-ons. There are about a thousand of them, and they can let you block banner ads, block text ads, control your music player, add stuff you can do to sites, let you redesign sites to your liking, open more than one Yahoo e-mail on a page... download videos... you name it.

Its a typical optical drive problem now a days. As hardwares are getting cheaper, the manufacturers are decreasing the quality. You can temporarily engineer it, but it won't last long. So I would suggest you to replace it.

If you have a keyboard with an eject function ensure that he button is not stuck down.
Also never leave disks in the drive.
Also ensure that the manual eject button is not stuck.
