i know how u feel me i like to paint my nails black and wear tons of black and peps think i worship da devil but i also love puppys belive in god and love sum girly things (except pink)ont like u cuz they think ur different and want to b better and make rumors dats wat happen wit me aslong as u know how u r and ur friends like u the way u r ur fine dont worry bout da others eventually they'll love ur style and think ur cool

whats up Dude! Its been a whilst! except you have been around and that i in basic terms have not seen you because of the fact i don't spend too lots time here anymore.. And have faith it or not all my lady goth acquaintances returned then actually carried a character with that a gloomy, and Privileged subculture character... and additionally extremely Witch Craft Like and vicious to BE truthful!.. SO possibly returned then they only observed all that appropriate it to Darkness and devil or what not... Even tho they weren't MQ... the short answer is: Alot of people are ignorant morons. They hate everyone who is differant from them is wrong.
I'm not goth(at least I don't think so), but in high school I actually got along better with some of the goths then other groups, they seemed to understand me more. In art class, alot of the other students and the teachers found my works disturbing, some of the goth students liked them and actually understood what I was going for.
basically, stereotypes suck:)

By reason of deduction. They know goths don't worship good music, originality, or individuality. So they assume they also worship the devil, or Robert Smith.

although i'm not a goth--i have read an article in a christian magazine informing people that the stigma of being a devil worshiper if you are gothic is not necessarily true--i try to enlighten people when they stereotype goths. there are plenty of preppies that are atheist! being goth is not about religious preferences.

to be able to talk, people love to talk no matter what . however when they do judge someone because of this laugh at them , the true meaning of gothic , or goth was formed back in the mideval days, its a style and thats it. actualy real goth isnt even all about black .

easiest solution to the question "why are they different."
and i know some goths that dont worship the devil,
people are different because they want to be,
not because "the devil told me to"
some people just dont understand that.
life will always be like this.

once again the stereotyping bullshit takes place of this...just like they say about people who listen to death/black metal all worship Satan but it not actually true as for me i don't believe in neither the devil or god.

I SO AGREE! i'm a complete misfit here. most Goths are almost always best in class if they're in school. it bugs. i hate judgmental people
