He's an ex. There are only about 15 million men in the U.S. within 5 years of your age. Move on. Any song you send him has more potential of making you seem like a psycho than anything else it could do. Unless he could never tell that you EVER loved him, a song isn't going to make him realize anything--or bring him back.
In fact, hang low for a month or so, and then go date his friend. They probably like similar things, and the differences could be beneficial to you.
