I've got new theory on who created the turin shroud and i've written down some of it and sent it to some publishers and magazines but no one seems interested. Can anyone suggest a good place to send it.
(i know maybe no one is interested because it may be a bad theory or badly written !)

Would 'sentient' who suggests leonardo da vinci created the shroud be the writer lynn picknett ?, or am i having delusions of grandeur that someone so distinguished would answer !?. I've read their book on the subject and enjoyed it , though the theory isn't 100 % accepted by any means is it ?. I'm looking forward to their new book about jesus

You can download an Ebook multimedia an write it again and even some of these web-companies might give you the opportunity to publish your story in an ebook format, try it,you have nothing to loose!
Scientific or not, high-powered computing increases the incentive for businesses to Webline customers by making human behavior appear predictable.
The Industry Standard; Stephen King: Content Provider?
"In a move being billed as the biggest market test to date, Stephen King's latest horror tale is being sold exclusively in eBook format. "Riding the Bullet" will be released for download March 14 at $2.50 a pop, and many in the media suggested that its performance would have great implications for the nascent online publishing industry."

A lot of people give up when they realise how hard it is to get published anywhere!
I would first of all give it to someone else to read. Not a friend or family member, unless you can be sure they will be brutally honest with you about the quality of the writing. You also need it proof read for grammar and spelling mistakes.
To find potential publishers I would suggest you look at amazon or some other book shop online and try to find similar types of books. Look to see who has published them and write downt the names. They are the most likely to even read your manuscript.
Find contact details for these publishers, find out (via their websites) whether or not they are even sourcing new work at the moment. If they are check to see how they like it to be presented (double spaced/font type and size etc) and whether they want an author profile or not, a synopsis or not, the whole manuscript or just the first couple of chapters. Some prefer email submissions, others accept postal only.
Most are different, and if you don't send it in according to their specifications it will be binned without even being read!
This all means a lot of extra work, changing, resizing and repositioning things etc, so you will only succeed if you are persistent and determined!
Oh, and never, ever blanket email them or use exactly the same template, try to change it a little. A lot of them are in contact and will appreciate you taking the time to be personal.
Only ever contact up to four or five at a time, at the most, and if you do this make sure you inform them of who else you have approached. If they are interested they need to know there may be competition.
Another route is to find an agent. There will be numbers in the phone book. Call them, explain in brief your book and your theory and if they are interested they may take you on. An agent will take a cut, but a cut of something is better than a cut of nothing if you can't get it published without help!
I hope that helps you somewhat.
I have written a short story, a book for grieving parents and am working on a novel and a parenting book at the moment, so I know what it's like!
I've only tried the grief book so far, and it's had a lot of interest but as it's fairly taboo nobody is willing to take it on (it's different to most others available), although most of them have been very helpful in directing me to others who may be interested, which gives me the hope that it is good enough, or they just wouldn't bother!
Good luck :)

I do believe in the shroud of turin I've seen pictures of it! Is it the burial cloth of Jesus there is some compelling evidence that it may be. as far as someone duplicating the cloth from the website link: They placed a linen sheet flat over a volunteer and then rubbed it with a pigment containing traces of acid. A mask was used for the face. I don't see a mask on the face of the shroud. also the image on the shroud has 3-d information on it we will see if the copy does the same . as far as the carbon 14 dating a January 2005 an article by Raymond N Rogers n in the Scientific journal Themocchimica Acta proved that the carbon 14 dating of the shroud was flawed.

Bad theory, badly written? I wonder about your choice of words?
Theory is just that and if the concept is of interest and has been guided there is the possibility of being published for your input.
Careful on this one!
That which is real is real and can not be denied.

I think noone is interested because it was resolved. Through my findings Leonardo Da Vinci made it 500yrs ago using a very primitive form of photography which he himself invented. Because he was regularly employed by monasteries - it was easy for him to place it in the church in which it was discovered. This man was awesome - the ultimate practical joker!
