IM 18, and i was offerd a job at a grave yard or memorial park. I immediately jumped on this oppurtunity because, grave yards make me feel calm and happy. Happy that, the fact im not dead and burried 6 feet deep. In other words it makes me happy to be alive and makes me think about, the people that are 6 feet deep and never took a chance, or was a affraid of taking risks in life and now they are dead. It motivates me to take every oppurtunity that comes to me, because i will soon join these people down under, and nothing will matter anymore you will be gone forever!!!!!!!!! but, im not taking this job just to humble myself, but because it pays 13 bucks an hour. Am i weirdo for thinking like this?

Not at all. My husband was always this way also. He told me stories of how he would hang out in the graveyards, one in particular. He felt calm and relaxed there and felt it was the safest place he could possibly be, because everyone was dead. He said he would feel a strange calmness come over him, like all the people who were resting there were totally at peace. He even had a favorite tombstone he would always sit under, and he would run away from home just to get away, and that is where he would always go. Sometimes he would even spend the night there. He is a totally normal person, he's not morbid in his way of thinking at all, he just always loved graveyards. So, no, you are not weird.

No, you are not a wierdo. Everybody has different thoughts, feelings and opinions, and noone can tell you if you are right or wrong. I never thought of it the way you put it, and it makes alot of sense to me. As far as the $13 per hour, you are lucky and you absolutely should jump at the chance. There are so many people without jobs these days, and so many more having to struggle just to get past minimum wage. Try it and see how you feel, before secong guessing or judging yourself. Good luck my friend.

not at all. It makes sence that being in a graveyard would make you happy for your own life and yah probably some of the guys burried didnt take chances which is why people should live to the fullest (cheesy sounding i know)
plus it pays good and makes you happy about your life. Most jobs dont do either

no i think its very mature and it shows you are a deep thinker and think outside the box a lot of teens even grown folks wouldn't take a job like that because they are so worried about ghost and what not even though when you die your soul and mind are conscious of nothing so there is no such thing as ghost but back to the point you are thinking i want to work here not live her so to speak so it gives you comfort to take life more seriously and enjoy and appreciate what you have because those who have passed in that such grave yard and/or memorial park cannot do the same.!

No way! I like the way you think. I think that, if people spent more time really making the most of and savoring the time that they are "here" the world would be a better place.

Graveyards and memorial parks are not always doom and gloom, death and sadness, places. Good luck!

Not at all. I'd jump on any job that started at that rate. Plus, I'll bet you get to work pretty much on your own away from people. Let me know if more grave diggers are needed. If I'm in your area, I'll apply.
