i have a scraggly lemon tree.. i've recently changed the soil so its has more nutrients..
its in a west window.. as i don't really have a south window available that isn't in a draft rigth now..

(i have a huge draft coming in from my south facing window that i'm concerned might harm the plant)

so any tips would be great :)

sorry to say that if you don't have another one like it the one you have will not make fruit. it has to cross pollinate.
My dads is outside. But we live in Southeast Texas.. He just covered it for the winter. It is growing like crazy.. Made fruit after the first season.. if you have a draft and are worried about the coldness. unless it is under say 50 degrees it should be ok.. or you can put some mulch around the base to protect the roots... That way it can get some light... You may turn it every few days so that the whole plant can get the same amount of sun.
