Husbands can take on the symptoms of pregnancy (for example, my husband has gained about 15 pounds right along with me!)

However, it's important to remember that even though you are the one carrying the baby - you are both expecting a child. Too often husbands/fathers are forgotten about - everything about pregnancy is geared towards women. It's a very stressful time for the father of the baby as well. He's feeling a little left out (after all, you and your pregnancy are getting most of the attention). And the pressures on fathers is tremendous. Perhaps he's worried about how he's going to take care of the family now. In our society there is great pressure on men to be the providers. My advice? Talk with him. Find out what he's feeling. My husband is totally excited but also worried and apprehensive and feeling like he's missing out on something.

Good luck!

sometimes the hubby gets all the mood swing and the craving and everything.... my hubby is like this too.... i am happy but he left me with only morning sickness and sometimes even joins me... gross i know but all i can say is wait it out and be patient... it is a good thing that he feels a little of what you have to go through..... (we believe that this happened because while i like to sleep against the wall i would hop over him in the middle of the night to go pee, he would get all my symptoms....) good luck you only have a few more months to go....

Try to be patient with him and have a sense of humor.

"sympathy symptoms" are actually pretty common amongst fathers-to-be. Also, he is dealing with some huge, emotional, "I'm going to be a daddy" issues too. Let him talk about his fears about that; it may help.

My hubby gained more weight than I did. Just pacify him and when he gets real bad tell him to go get moody in another room because your the ones prego not him.
