I have a Gigabyte GA-8S661FXM Socket 478 Micro ATX motherboard which recently stopped working, displaying the message:
Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0
Copyright
Scanning BIOS image in Hard Drive...
Can not find BIOS image in Hard Drive

I hadn't made any changes or tried to flash the board

Any idea if this can be saved?

Well before you do anything id try contacting gigabyte. If you cant then check to see if your hard drive is working at all just by listening to it if it is open up your computer and make sure the connection between your hard drive and motherboard is OK, also check the one between your power supply and hard drive if the hard drive doesn't turn on. if it still doesn't work try resetting the cmos battery which looks like a big lithium watch or hearing aid battery. I'm not familiar with you're motherboard but its usually in the bottom right hand corner.if nothing works just unplug everything and replug it in and only use whats necessary for the system to run and see if it works that way. if that doesn't work i don't really know what to tell you your probably gonna have to buy a new motherboard.

one thing I would try is when you boot up hit f10 and do a RECOVERY and see if that helps. Before it stopped was there any other things that you recently added.
