For a Spanish class presentation on Friday, I have to make an illustration of the proverb "do as I say, not as I do" to show the class. In addition, I have to describe this proverb and tell its meanings, examples, etc. Anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this? Or what I should consider drawing in order to explain the proverb visually? Thanks!

Draw a picture of a parent lecturing his/her son/daughter on the harms of smoking while the parent smokes a cigarette. Good luck.

Chow!!

I would draw a picture of a nurse or a doctor smoking. They're health professionals and constantly tell us how we should be doing this or that to keep ourselves healthy, but everytime I walk into a hospital there are several standing around the exit smoking.
Just a suggestion. De una estudiante de español a otra, ¡Buena suerte con tu trabajo!

Make a parent tell a child not to drive drunk. Then a second picture with both the parent and child at 2 different parties as the parent drinks and the child refuses. Then both driving home in different cars and the parent's car crashes. 3 pictures and your message is clearly portrayed.

Someone smoking or drinking while telling their children not to smoke or drink.

The children should look perplexed or confused (use question marks over their heads)

Parent could have a glass with the bottle nearby.

Maybe you could draw a parent pointing at the kids dirty room, telling him to clean it up. Then the parent goes away into his/her room and its a disaster.

Draw the end scene of scarface with guns blazing, draw a little kid next to him and a little bubble over his head saying "say hello to my little friend" then title it "Do as I say Not as I do".
