its probably meant to be worn round the back lol ~ here in new zealand we call it a 'bumbag' but its still worn at the front ~ infact ~ over this side of the world we call the 'front parts' the fanny LOL!! so i guess callling it a 'fannypack' is correct for us coz its worn at the front etc etc lol :D

depends where you come from,in England the word fanny is another name for the female genitalia, and we call fanny packs bum bags, but also most people tend to wear them at the front!maybe fanny pack would be better used in England(ooooh how rude!)

I think its suppose to go on your fanny, but people where them in the front. Iremember when they were popular in the early 90's. I had one. I was like 5 though.

Originally, people wore them with the pack on the small portion of their back, right above their fanny.
No one wears the pack behind them now, because of pickpockets, so now it is a tummy pack.

It is on your fanny.
The strap goes around your waist. The pack rests on your butt (if you wear it that way). And I've only seen them on tourists.
