You could make a delicious veggie salad for them, mixing together lots of different veggies, and maybe even a couple strawberries! mmm...

Does the rabbit know it's its birthday? Doubtful. I'm sure it would be grateful for a couple extra treats any old time...mine really liked rose bush and plum tree prunings (and getting out of the cage to play with the other bunnies, but you've gotta be careful with that one--otherwise you'll have a few more bunny birthdays to celebrate).

On birthdays and Christmas I give my rabbit her favourite food and a new toy (believe it or not they like to pick rattle up and throw them about). Maybe a nice bit of spinach or some basil or parsley.

my bunny is 8 years old last week was his birthday and i bought him a new toy (small hollow ball with bell inside, actually a cat toy) and i roll it around the floor and he chases it. They love human interaction and to be affectionate so have fun with your bunny on his/her birthday! They crave love and attention. A treat is nice to, like a small piece of apple or berry.

Make a fruit & veggie cake !
Just mix together everything like a salad then put it into a cake shape !
Spoil her/him rotten !
