Is there a 'cure' for stitch?

I'm a swimmer and was always told to "swim a sticth out", ie keep on going but this never worked for me. I found a short rest would allow me then to continue my session.

A stitch is caused by a build up of carbon dioxide in the body. If you breath out a lot it will slowly release the CO2 and should go away.

If you mean a stitch in the side no i think you just have to stop running for a while or whatever you were doing

That is my dog's name and he IS a little crazy, but I don't think there is a cure for that...in time he may slow down however.
