Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

OMG I found the most awesome stuff like ever! Its by Clean and Clear. Its called Acne Spot Treatment Advantage. Its in a silver and purple tube. It looks like a toothpase tube. Now first of all you DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE. Its so true, it will get better if you don't touch the pimple. Second put on that stuff I just told you about and it will clear up faster than anything else but you probably won't be able to get rid of the pimple by your game. I'm so sorry! I know how you feel! On the box it even says 100% of people showed clearer skin in 8 hours! So you know its gotta work! And I've used it and I know it works!
I know you don't wear makeup but you might want to invest in some good concealer too if you go and get this acne clearing stuff.

Good luck!

Don't pop it. I've been known to pop some of mine too but actually the bacteria in your pore can get into your circulation and go to your brain...not likely to happen, but possible. Anyway, tanning will help dry it up but it usually takes several sessions and I wouldnt use that as a zit remedy (also, I've known of zits to clear up after swimming a lot because the chlorine dries out your skin if oily skin is the problem, but again not really a true remedy). Clearasil grantees fewer and smaller zits in 3 days; Clearasil and Clean and Clear both have great spot ance treatments that work very well. I've always found it to work. Recently I've been using ProActiv. You can usually buy it at your local mall, so you don't have to wait to order it. It is a little pricer but it lasts you forever. But for fast results, dont use toothpaste, I've never known it to work. I would get a light exfoliant, nothing to harsh to irriatate your skin, then use a medicated wash. Finally, you can use a medicated conclear, just on this one spot. It will help heal you zit and cover it up, without you having to wear a lot of makeup. Good Luck!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but there really isn't much you can do.

You have agitated the skin from the popping and all the cleansing which has caused your body to go into protection overdrive. Believe it or not the redness and the yellow gunk is your body's way of fighting infection.

Your best bet now is to LEAVE IT ALONE!! However if it's inflamed you could try putting a little ice on it to reduce the swelling, and for the redness you can try a slightly green tinted concealer.

I hope that helps, and try and remember it is just a pimple... it's not the end of the world!

I would suggest using ice to reduce the redness and swelling. Then use rubbing alcohol to clean it. (Itll burn for a little while, but it cleans it out really good) Then I would use an oil free moisturizer. I'm not sure about the tanning part, but it might make it worse...

But just to let you know, everyone has breakouts every once in a while. It's no big deal - you should've gone to school. Missing school over a pimple is ridiculous...

I assume tannning would help. I'm no expert, but you could logically take a shower and soap up your face really well. I know it got bigger after you used it the first time, but use benzoyl peroxide to zap it. Before applying any medication rub the whole area with alcohol, as to clean it and remove all bacteria. This may also dry it out. DO NOT SQUEEZE!

Use A Spot Treatment from cliniqe it is expensive but is a life saver or use plain yogurt to make a mask( the plain yogurt will moisturize and clean out your pores) then use the spot treatment

Wow, you can miss school because of a pimple? Anyway, however bad a pimple can be, it can't totally spoil your good looks. And a period of time later, it will be gone and forgotten. For now, you should make sure that no scar will be left with you for the rest of your life and keep it clean while eating blander food. Drink a lot of water and don't pop it again.

You are just agitating it... it's not going to help. There isn't any way to get rid of it that fast no matter what people tell you. All you can do is wash your face, wipe it with acne pads, apply acne cream and wait.
