yep, you can blame it on there upbringing....I married a European and he laughed at me as I insisted that my children say Please and Thank-you - and so on. He now looks back and tells me that wasn't such a bad lesson. He now is just as annoyed now with the lack of common courtesy of his fellow country men every time we go back to his home country.
After 10 years we also noticed his niece's and nephews are yelled at when we visit to say Please and Thank-you, but my husbands response is: If you didn't teach them when they were young why would you expect them to do it 'for show' or on command.
I now come off looking like a caring parent that took the time to teach common courtesy.

We as a society have allowed this to happen. We don't want to get involved, we are afraid to make eye contact, we have become so self absorbed in our own little worlds that something as simple as common courtesy is all too often a thing from the past. If you do as they do , then you have become a part of the problem and not part of the solution. Be nice at every opportunity, because what goes around definitely does come around. Smile and sooner or later someone will smile back. Have a great day!

As a general rule, I try to be courteous 100% of the time. Sometimes I may slip, but thats generally because the situation doesn't warrant time for a reaction.
As mentioned previously, this new generation appears to be an "its all about me" generation. At times, I tend to lean away from common courtesy for the simple fact that not much is received in return for my kindness; a simple wave, a thank you never hurts.
Hopefully someday, this once common trait will return. But, until then, guess I'll just settle for leading by example.
Cheers!

Good question! I agree! I absolutely hate it when driving and I stop to le someone cross the road and not even an acknowledgement is given! You are right, people are getting even worse and it does make me want to stop being helpful and friendly as well. I think that no one has any patience anymore and everyone is stressed and in a hurry! I would give a thank you wave when you let me in :-)

I trust eco-friendly lantern right here, drop the undesirable language and the thoughts-set. No place for it in golf or everywhere else. does not make you a lot of a guy. besides, the least confusing way is to attempt some distinctive golf balls, i admire the Calloway warm chew or real Flite D2 experience for distance. top is likewise a good sort. you would be enjoying a ball that spins and that cuts your distance, so attempt out some distinctive manufacturers. To decrease rankings prepare your putting, get a good experience for velocity on the vegetables, attempt to sink greater one-putts. artwork out your palms with some weights for greater skill, even nevertheless good technique is greater important than muscle. that's why the Koreans on the LPGA excursion weigh down the ball. you do no longer choose cumbersome muscle groups, do lifts and stretches. Then prepare, prepare and prepare some greater. as quickly as you commence hitting farther that changes your short interest too.

If you let me in, I will wave. If you let me go ahead of you in line, I will thank you.
Common courtesy is a lost art, but it still exists!
And by the way, to that rude person above me, I'm from "up North" -- careful who you needlessly insult.
