Short of physically destroying your computer, this is not possible.
The military practices the best security of anyone I know and they take axes and stuff to their computer hardware to make sure the data is unrecoverable.
Short of this, there is no sure-fire way to permanently remove any and all record of your computer activities. Just ask your ISP.

Good luck.
Data on your computer has a long lifetime. The right person can reconstruct data from several generations of deletions and overwrites.

i dont think you can totally get rid of history. I know that experts can find stuff in the hard drive thats been deleted - thats how police can prosecute people who have been into paedophile websites - the info is always there!!

Purchase, "WINDOWS WASHER" you can buy it on-line for 35 or 40 bucks. If you set it to remove all history traces including "slack" and overwrite the space 11 times then it is unrecoverable.

You can't ever hide everything. You might want to run your recovery disc and then it really will take an expert to find 'traces' of what was there before.

Start with the normal internet options delete.
Then you will need a "wipe" program that will wipe only the free space.

there is no way to get rid of it fully.
there is always ways of getting to it, you would have to completely format your hard drive and write over every single availible bit on your hard drive then format and reload your os again....almost impossible
if its that bad buy a new hard drive, but completely destroy the old one into milion of tiny pieces, or burn it
