Developers are tearing down every inch of forest we have just to have another unscale overpriced housing area with a Starbucks.

If I could move it would be to a rural area. Currently I live in a suburban area near the metro region of a big city. There is wildlife here other than birds...deer, coyote, bobcats, etc.
I think all this development is due to people like answerer number 2 who don't really care about what happens to the environment around them.
I live about 150 miles from Sam Houston National Forest. I visited there for a day with my sister during the summer a couple years ago. It saddened me to see portions of that beautiful forest being laid to waste by a logging company.

Face it. Our country is a leader in industrialization. Plus, with such a huge population, we need to find space to fit everybody-so building it is. Plus, changing times call for changing measures and people want to live in the real world of technology. Upscale chic is in and rural environments are out.
