How do you connect SATA hardrives. I have 2 connections for them. Does the PC detect them, or is there something i have to do to the hardrives.

The PC should auto-detect them as long as you have those ports enabled in the bios.

If your primary drive is the older ATA type, you might have to get into the BIOS and enable the SATA circuits. Other than that, just HOOK them up and GO.

If this drive is not formatted, then create the partitions and format with NTFS. That would be the best. If they are pre-formatted with FAT32 by the manufacturer, I would REFORMAT to NTFS.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
