Honestly, I have no idea. I've watched it a few times and it was a decently-entertaining show, but nothing to go wild over, in my opinion. If you figure out what the secret is, let me know.

Its more that there is so much going on that you can relate to. A lot of it is really easy to identify with. The medical cases are also really interesting and the way the doctors resolve them say a lot about who they are. Its not really like scrubs because scrubs is a comedy while grey's anatomy is a drama.
i guess the reason why its so popular is that you feel like you know the characters when you watch it. the actors are all really amazing.

Trust me if you watched it you would be hooked. its got everything in a show its got love, hate ,sex, murder, violence, backstabbing, forgiving, comedy, drama, action, its got it all and then some. Its more then a sitcom. Its what everybody wants. It has the good guys the bad guys the sexy girls the sluttier girls its got dang to much to say just watch it and enjoy.

It's good because everyone can find a character that they identify with. there is a personality for everyone on the show. It also is always something different. it keeps on you hooked for the next episodes. in the beginning i didn't really like it, but after a few episodes, i was hooked. and i still am! i love it

I'm drawn to Grey's Anatomy. I think because it is basically a nighttime soap opera.
