I saw online a very nice sportcoat at a great price. In its description, it says, "Sleeve is constructed for the addition of custom working buttonholes." It does not have any buttons on the sleeve.

If I bring the coat to a tailor, does anyone know how much it would cost simply to have sleeve buttons sewn on? If it's not much, the price is definitely right.

Thanks.

To the person who said I can sew, I am pretty awful at it. It's definitely not worth my time to sew buttons (poorly) if they're cheap for a tailor to put on.

If I did it, the buttons would end up looking off. I don't want my mistakes to make my clothing look (unexpectedly) like modern art.

go visit a seniors center they are pretty crafty and then get one of them to sew for you.

Surely you can sew a simple button onto a garment? It's one of the easiest things to do. If you can't, I'm sure your Mother can.

Addition: Okay, if you truly can't sew, then how about your Mom, Aunt, Sister, friend? It's a very simple task. Otherwise, I would contact your local dry cleaners -- they might do it.
