I'm near the end of Final Fantasy XII and am stuck on a particular hunt, Wyrm wrath's renewal.?

they say to look for fafnir in the paramina rift in the silverflows end when the weather is really bad. I've litterally gone back and checked over 100 times and nothing! Is there a trick to it that I am missing? Because of this, it looks like the game wont offer me the last 2 hunts. I've tried to stall, and have even gotten all 13 espers, most side quests and all my players to level 99 but can't bring myself to go on to the final battle until I get fafnir. HELP Please!

You need to keep zoning completely out of the Rift and back until it is snowing hard. It works, I had to zone in and out 6 times before it was snowing hard enough for Fafnir to appear.
