It's only easy because he gives us so much material to work with.

The only reason it's so easy to bash Bush because there's such a diverse field to work with: He snorted coke in college, was arrested with a DUI, skipped military duty, initiated a war lacking probable cause all to benefit his oil buddies, rigged an election, allowed Katrina to destroy New Orleans through neglect, authorized illegal wiretapping and now he's planning to wage another unnecessary war with Iran.
Of course, it's also easy to blast Bush's homies: His father was also a terrible president, his brother helped in the stealing of Florida, Donald Rumsfeld was a joke, Alberto Gonzalez is allowing illegal torture to continue, and Cheney is evil incarnate.

You can find reasons to ridicule and criticize anyone these days. Find a homeless person who isn't causing anyone any harm. Or the peaceful owner of a barbershop in small town, South Carolina. Put these guys in the spotlight before millions of people, and how long do you think it would take to put these guys to shame?? Someone can AND will. They always do. Nobody ever looks for the good in their brother or sister. We always look for the worst. Why is it so satisfying to put others down??

People find it too easy to rip all political leaders. We allow the media to dictate who are leaders will be and then we go along for the ride when they have a feeding frenzy on the faults of our leaders. Clinton was no different. Americans are too fat and lazy to think for themselves anymore. We have given the media complete control. You will bash me because its a bitter pill to swallow but the sooner we all do, the sooner we get better leadership in Washington.

I'm just interested to see if the good people of the USA are going to make the mistake of allowing Bush and clan to come back again if Jeb decides to run. You know what they say about too many sequels. Enough is enough I think!

He's such a poor public speaker that he opens himself up constantly to ridicule, but my guess is that if most of us were recorded every time we spoke in public we could be made to look ridiculous too.
I pity whoever is the next president because the public and the media have become such vicious vultures.

Cheney is running the show as it is. We don't need him to formaly have the power as well.
But I know what you mean about Bush. However, I don't feel sorry for him. I lost any sympathy I might have had when he turned his back on the Constitution and the basic principles of this country. He deserves what he gets.

The President has just shy of two years left to serve and he is probably concentrating on what goals he wants to accomplish and what is good for the USA. If I were him I wouldn't have too much time to worry about the un-elected, self opinionated and commercial worried media.

What do you mean?
He's a very smart man.
He has convinced the American population that he was the best, not once but twice.
He has driven up the price of oil and caused artificial shortages, all for his oil buddies.
He has done payback for daddy.
And to top things off, someone else (the american people) are paying for it all.

It was never difficult to ridicule Shrub to begin with. He's the Dan Quayle we never had. As for Cheney taking over, you have some doubt he was not in charge? This has been the perfect political Cyrano de Bergerac marriage since Ronald Reagan was in office....
