Looking for arts and crafts schools where husband can do woodworking and myself do something in beads, sculpture, art, etc.. Found Arrowmont in Gatlinburg but that's it at this point ?

John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, N.C. is wonderful! Not as artistic as Arrowmont, more true folk art. They run fantastic elder hostels there with classes in everything: weaving, carving, blacksmithing, etc. And the area is beautiful.

Unfortunately, you won't find too many places like Arrowmont where there is an opportunity to take classes on many "arts" all in one place, and where you can probably just pay for time on the equipment as well.
Mostly, you'll find only classes on single arts/crafts, each of which you'll have to search out separately, or you'll find a variety but mostly of classes at places like community centers, art and other depts. at universities, army bases, etc.
