when your computer is loading up from power...keep pressing the "Esc" button (repeating) and you will access a blue screen..(don't worry) just go to where ever it says administrator and select it with your arrows and press enter, and you should access your computer like your in safe mode and then just change your password like you normally would..I'm pretty sure this is how you do it..i had a problem similar to this...

If you have the option to sign in as an administrator (usually there is one set up as a default (User) when you get your computer), sign on using it - the password is ADMIN by default. Once you are in windows, click [Start], [Control Panel], [User Accts], select your user account and select [Remove password]. You can then add a new password if you would like. You can prevent this in the future by creating a password backup disk. Inside the User Account where you set up the password originally is an option in related tasks listed to the left of the User Accounts window to [Prevent a forgotten password]. If you click on this option, it runs a wizard that makes a diskette to reset passwords if you forget yours. It basically resets the password to no password so you can recreate it.

Best way is to find an IT professional with access to the Winternals ERD Commander utility. They can easily reset your password with it. Maybe GeekSquad has it.

not sure if your reffering to a windows password or a bios/cmos password. If its a text only screen ussually black&white you'll need to go to manufacturers site and find out procedure for clear cmos or reset password. These vary by make /model also.
If its windows try this fix:

Unless you remember that password, your only alternative is to reformat the entire hard drive. Next time, write it down and keep it in a safe.
