Al Gore has spoken: The world must embrace a "carbon-neutral lifestyle."
Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself. Then there is the troubling matter of his energy use. In the Washington, D.C., area, utility companies offer wind energy as an alternative to traditional energy. In Nashville, similar programs exist. Utility customers must simply pay a few extra pennies per kilowatt hour, and they can continue living their carbon-neutral lifestyles knowing that they are supporting wind energy.According to public records, there is no evidence that Gore has signed up to use green energy in either of his large residences. www.usatoday.com

The article posted on Yahoo! states that he purchases 108 green energy credits from his electrical provider. What those green credits are it doesn't say. With homes that large why doesn't he invest in solar power, during its peak production times it'll backfeed power into the power company's grid and the property would be self-sustaining.

Another case of "Do as I say, not as I do" from politicians. The Dems will try to spin this by claiming some garbage about "carbon footprint" and how he gives back. It is all ridiculous. The Hollywood liberals love this guy, but he is as big a hypocrit as the rest of them. Good Question, by the way.

Compare that to Dick Cheney's $186,000 electric bill.

At least Al Gore pays his own damn electric bill whereas you and I have to foot the bill for Cheney.
