It's my understanding the if A(male/female) is married to B(male/female) but then A cheats on B with C, B can file a suit against C if C knew that A&B were married. (sorry if this sounds complicated LOL)

I live in NC and Yes, here we can file charges against C. One being criminal conversation and the other is alienation of affection. I think all "other women" should face these charges. Yes, the man cheated on his wife, but a lot of the so called "women" throw theirselves shamelessly on these men and make them feel like less of a man if they dont take what is being offered. The man may be weak and selfish at the moment but the woman that does this is nothing but a w-h-o-r-e

I've never heard of that. Certainally "C" would be the reason for the divorce however i don't think a civil suit would be allowable. Besides, civilly you being A would screw B to the wall and rape him for everything you could lay your hands on.
If A wants C then let him. C will loose the starry eyed luster for A when A hasn't a pot to piss in.

This was a lifetime movie that was based on a true story. The couple ended up getting a divorce because the man had an affair. The wife ended up suing the mistress because she claimed they would not have divorced if she wasn't involved. It was based on a true story, but I don't know if it happens.

Depends on state. Alienation of affection. Most states don't allow it anymore.

i don't think in most states that they have the alienation's of affections anymore. but i would guess that one could sue someone for pain and suffering, anyone can sue anyone for anything. think it would be great if u could sue someone who destroyed your marriage but unfortunately most states don't have that anymore.
