I'm really sorry you need to clean up that grammar big time (and coming from me that is really bad). Because I don't follow this story at all.

But in general a State Supreme court ruling can not be over turned. However divorce cases do not go to the Supreme court unless for so strange reason the there is a question of State law that is in controversy.

Also be clear that not what all states call the "Supreme" court are the "Highest courts in the State." Take New York, where the "Supreme Court" is the trial court (or lowest court) in the system.

Does this answer your question, no. But I didn't understand the question.

Sorry but, what the heck are you talking about? What business is it of yours anyway?

NY has a Supreme Court but that's their trial court. Each state has a Supreme Court - most are the ones that review a case after it was appealed to the "appellate court." Many times IF a case is reviewed by the Supreme Court, and they don't have to, it is sent back to the lower court.

Then there's the District Appellate Courts & the US Supreme Court. They handle federal issues. I can almost guarantee your "sis in laws ex" wasn't there.

I've never seen a lower court "reverse" a ruling by the "supreme court" be it a State Supreme Court or US Supreme Court.

Something is "fishy" with this story I'm reading!

I'd suggest contacting the Court of which this case was heard to determine what actually occurred which would be in the court records!

Best wishes.
