No- there are only 2 versions- Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory made in 1971 (with Gene Wilder) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from 2005 (with Johnny Depp) which is more strictly based on the book by Roald Dahl

Johnny Depp would have been 8 years old when "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" was made. According to IMDB, Depp did not start acting till about 1984, 13 years after Willy Wonka. Also, that movie was filmed in Germany while Depp was born in Kentucky and raised in Florida. I doubt that he could have found his way into being cast as an uncredited extra.

Also, there is no mention of Johnny Depp in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" on IMDB.

No, just one. Johnny Depp starred in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 2005. Gene Wilder stared in the older version, titled Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in 1971.

No, he has not. The original movie was "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" (1971), a very good movie, maybe better than the remake, I love Jhonny but I think Gene Wilder was a better Willy Wonka. In 1971 Johnny was only a child; his first acting role on a big screen movie was in 1984.

But he worked at the French romantic movie "Chocolat" (2000) so maybe you are confused.

No. The person in the original one was Gene Wilder. Johnny Depp was only in the remake.
