I have a Java Vern that I put in my tank and its been there for about a month or so it seems to be growing roots off of the leaves,is this new growth or is it a fungus, the roots have new leaves growing from it, should I take them off the Java Vern leaves or just leave them there.plus will this hurt the tank.

this is one of the ways that Java ferns reproduce: they grow new little ferns off their own leaves. Leave them on there till they get bigger then remove them and treat them the same as any other one

That is how the java fern reproduces. Soon a whole new plant will grow on the leaves and it will fall off and attach somewhere else.
