Yes it can. If a person is missing their vas deferens (the tube that takes the sperm from the testicles to the penis) the sperm cannot escape and gets stuck in the scrotum, and eventually dies. So, it really takes a semi-sterile person to have stale sperm.

Well in a way. Kind of like marmalade. When you open a new jar and spoon some out , it spreads easily. If you leave a glob of it out in the open air for a while it solidifies a bit to a gummy, sticky goop. Then it dries and becomes crusty, like stale bread.

Leo Leo Leo you dirty man! Come sit on my lap! Oh back to the question. I would say yes. It starts out as jelly when its fresh but it will soon go to a clear liquid spit consistancy. I am not sure how long the little swimmers stay alive though.

From experience it goes jelly like if that person hasn't ejaculated quite recently - it is so thick it looks a bit like jelly

well... after about 72 hours sperm can no longer imgregnate an egg so yeah, I guess so.
