None of those are cheap or easy. Turbo is gunna cost you about 2,000 dollars if you are lucky and nos is going to be at least 500 dollars plus the wear and tear on a stock block. Besides intake and exhaust, thats about it. Weight plays a big part. Remove all the things you dont need like back seats, the spare tire, the 1000 lb stereo system, etc.

Nitrous oxide.

The optimum burn ratio for gasoline is 1 part fuel to 14 parts air.

Unfortunately, a spark plug won't fire the fuel/air charge unless it's like 1 part fuel to 8 parts air.

That means there's alot of fuel there that doesn't get burned because there's not enough oxygen, not enough air.

A Nitrous oxide bottle will provide the oxygen necessary to allow the fuel that's already there to burn and yeild it's power.

You don't want to use it to much or too often because the mechanical components of your car weren't designed to take the increased load. Your rod bearings and pin bushing will take the lion's share of the beating.

But your car will fly!

performance air filter like a K&N is relatively cheap. bang for the buck wise turbos are the way to go but most engines will require mods to accomodate the increased HP and torque
