Hmmm - I suppose you mean - floating orbs of Light? When you two are together you both magnify each other's psi abilities. Could that be the answer?

maybe a silly answer but is your mum still alive or do you sense she's with you?
if she's still alive perhaps someone who has ties with both of you is trying to tell you somethin.
