2. The Trouble With Tink by Kiki Thorpe
3. Beck and the Great Berry Battle by Laura Driscoll
4. Lily's Pesky Plant by Kirsten Larsen
5. Vidia and the Fairy Crown by Laura Driscoll
6. Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon by Lisa Papademetriou
My daughter is 10 and loves to read them.

If you are looking for an illustrated book (and there are many) there's one I have: "Faeries" - Described & Illustrated by Brian Froud and Alan Lee / Edited and Designed by David Larkin - I think that it's really great! There are numerous others, I'm sure. Abrams Artbooks has several. (There's bound to be many, many different ones - this is just one that I have and can recommend).

Almost forgot (I had to go "dig these out!) : There's a very nice "pop up" book (I think adults enjoy these as well!): "The Faeries Pop-Up Book" by Abrams books: Illustrated by the same guys as mentioned above. AND there's an addition book: "Goblins" by Brian Froud - Macmillan Publishing Company - New York. - just a couple that I had and liked.

I don't know if these are the kind of books you are looking for - but hope that you will have a chance to check them out, anyway!
May the "wee people of the wood" shower their Faerie blessings upon you - to brighten your day and bring a smile to your face!

The Stone Fey by Robin McKinley (my least favorite book by my favorite author)
The Moorchild by Eloise Jarvis McGraw
Gail Carson Levine's books have fairies. Some in supporting roles (Ella Enchanted, Fairest), some in more major ones.
Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book is hysterical
The Fairy Rebel by Lynne Reid Banks (might be too young for an 11-year old)
Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl books

Edit: Alaura is likewise impressive, yet i think of from time to time you ahve to adhere with widely used names and stray sort the unique names. Alora is btter however.
