Unfortunately, in the United States, it is no crime to make annoying phone calls repeatedly (no matter how threatening they are). However, it is enough to get the Courts to order a warrant which prevents them from contacting you and going to you. This way, if they do contact you again after they have been served with the warrant, they would be breaking the law. All you have to do then is record the message and give it to the police and they go to jail. Unfortunatly, they won't be in jail for long. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson from being in jail. Other than that, I can only recommend that you get the hell out of there for a while. Perhaps visit a Grandma or other famiy for a few weeks. Let things cool down.

If you don't have caller ID, get it. If the caller cannot be identified via caller ID, you can make an arrangement with the phone company where they can keep a connection open if you do not hang up. Lastly, yes it is most definitely a criminal offense, and it should be reported to the police immediately.

First of all, you need to contact your local law enforcement and let them know whats going on. Let them know as soon as possible. DO NOT erase the messages you have. If you can, record them on another recorder for back up. A police report will be made and then an investigator should contact you. If not, then YOU contact an investigator. Either way, you can't sit on this and let it continue. I wish you the best.

you have to have a tracker put on your phone, by the phone company, and keep track of the calls. Do not pick up the phone, record all calls on an answering machine. Only pick up when you know who it is.
For added security, I bought a big dog dish with the name KILLER on it and set it on my porch with dog food in it---from the neighbor. I bought signs that said, beware of dog. On my answering machine, I had the neighbor bring her dog over and make him bark and growl while I left my messgae on it. No more calls.

Get law enforcement involved but have your local phone company to tap your phone to see where the calls are coming from good luck and have a nice day.

If they are threatening your life then I would call the cops! Thats scary try disconnectioning your phone or changing the number. Do you know who's doing it? Or leave the country.

Try dialing star 69 (*69) to get their phone #. That will help, too. And call the cops.
