The Pirate
A patch of black,
A leg of wood.
Pirates are so misunderstood.
They may be scary,
Or make you cry.
How would you feel if you didn't have an eye?
His leg is made from an old oak tree,
He asked for one, but he got three.
Pirates don't only like swords, rum, and parrots.
They like ranch dressing and baby carrots.
Pirates love their mom and dad
And they say ARRGG! when they get mad.
He lost his hand in Vietnam,
It was blown off by an atom bomb.
Pirates are not so bad you see,
They are just like you and me.
They grew up in a happy home
And on the high seas is where they roam.
