No need for one. We have pride and don't have to keep reminding ourselves of it by singing and dancing every year.

There is no reason to have a heterosexual pride parade. The reason there is a gay pride parade is because the LGBT community faces oppression every day of their lives. Being heterosexual is easy, meaning that there is no need to group together and fight off oppression, because there isn't any.
I dont think your parade would be well recieved. Every day is heterosexual pride day in america.

Its funny, a little off topic, but close anyway. I went to a private college where it broke down to about 80% being asian, indian, and black students and the rest about 15% white. I am white, and as a joke, several of the other white students wanted to start a caucasian student union, since there was an asian student union, black student union and so forth. We went to the president of the university to ask permission and were pretty much laughed out of the room. You just have to let certain groups have their day you know. I'm not racist, im married to a chinese woman, nor a homophobe, its just funny that everyone wants a "pride day"

Pride is one thing, dignity and self-worth are something else. Personally, I keep my sexual preference to myself and it has nothing to do with pride. You just are what you are.
Parading Pride is certainly in everybody's face and provocative but the parade is quite entertaining and colourful, brings in the tourist dollar and is the closest thing to the Mardi Gras I'll ever see
next to a Caribana event. (Or is that Sodom and Gomorrah?)
Heterosexuals dressed up as peacocks? Na. Not a good idea.
Peace.

Sure, as long as it wasn't just a gay-bashing parade. If it's really about being proud to be heterosexual and not about harming or publicly degrading gays, you have the absolute right to do it.

Yea, a straight parade. Maybe a flag to go with it. I don't know about anybody else, but I hate parades anyhow. I think parades are gay to start with.

Sure, go for it. But everybody will know that those most desperate to publicly proclaim their heterosexuality are really closet gays, just like Foley and Haggard.

Why not?
To 'tell me another one, Mr. Bush" - Under your logic about 'not being degrading to gays', would it then be wrong for peace protesters to march as that could be construed as degrading to members of the military?

Well, why don't you give a try? You sound like just the kind of person that would draw a crowd.

That would be a great idea but I'll bet it will piss off a bunch of gays in the process.
