Combine the terms inside the parentheses first. Then apply the distributive property.

(x-4-3x-9) = (-2x - 13).

Then g(x) = 5(-2x - 13) = -10x - 65.

One could also write the final result like this:

g(x) = -(10x + 85).

Use the distributive property and then simplyfy
g(x)=5(x-4-3x-9)
g(x)=5x-20-15x-45
g(x)=-10x-65

alright. simplify. distributive property first. then add like terms.
g(x) = 5 (x - 4 - 3x - 9)
g(x) = 5x - 20 -15x -45
g(x) = -10x - 65

there you go. good luck.
