Thesis for history paper?

I need a thesis statement for a history paper on the events that led up to the revelutionary war. my 3 main points are Boston tea party, Towndhend acts, and the boston massacre???

"The three main events that led up to the Revolutionary War are: 1. the Boston tea party, 2. The Towndhend acts, and 3. The Boston Massacre." You can do it without the numbers if you want to. If you would like, you can add mech's statement at the end of this. What he said was good, but not a thesis statement. It was support for a thesis statement, though. A thesis is something which the rest of the paper has to tie into.
The rest of your paper can tie in very easily with the thesis laid out this way. Have the second paragraph/section be all about the Boston tea party, the third be about the Towndhend acts, and the fourth about the Boston Massacre. If you have other info. you want to include, you need to add something about that in your thesis.
At the beginning of each section, you almost need a thesis for that section. You would say something along the lines of "The Boston Tea Party was a major event which led up to the Revolutionary war because . . . " Then elaborate that on the rest of the section.
The conclusion just almost restates your thesis.

There were many factors leading into the Revolutionary War. Three main facts are the Boston Tea Party, the Towndhend Acts, and the Boston Massacre. If these historical acts never occured, the revolutionary war would have never begun, possibly changing the world that is today.
