give them time, hamsters love to climb you also might want to try a paper towel roll and fix it up like a ladder. The do love tubs and this might be a way to get them use to going up, ladders are good as well but it might take some time to use them, just relax and let them figure it out, paper towel roll see how that goes.

I had exactly the same problem with a couple of russian dwarf hamsters. You need to train them to climb the ladder, so they get the hang of it. Just be aware that they will probably knock it down quite often, so make sure food/water is on the bottom floor!

Dont use a ladder!, Use a ramp they sell those at your local petstore, They might not be able to climb up the ladder because of the wide space openings, and there little feet might get stuck in the middle, which could Break them!, Hope this HelpsZ!

Maybe, the hamsters just do not want to go up high. Maybe they just prefer to not go up there and just stay put.Or they may just not be used to them yet, it might take awhile for them to get used to it.

Maybe they're just not used to it yet. Hamsters have to become familiar with different objects before they're comfortable enough to go near them.
