Yeah, I saw that. I think he should remain with his mom but only if they all get counselling and nutritional information to keep him from getting any bigger. Also he needs to be checked out for thyroid and hypothalumus functions.

The kid is treated very poorly,so I agree
For the health of that kid,this is way bad
Nothing good will come out of this kid,if he stayes with his mom,ever

Couldn't they work out some sort of a day program...? Is he in a facility that an beaten or battered child should have... ? Don't they have a waiting list for placements... ? - WTF?
I don't know enough about this sorry...

When I heard what she was feeding him, she's slowly killing him. I think every parent should have the opportunity to rectify the situation before the gov't. steps in but if the parent doesn't, then yes I support gov't. intervention.

I think both the mom and son ned help and if that is was needs to be done to get them both healty well....so be it!

if she can't control his food income then he needs to be taken from her at least until he can develop good eating habits.
