Strange choices there but...
Mosquito: Very high pitched buzzing, almost a quiet whining, quite quiet unless you trying to sleep, lol.
Monkey: Well er... like the other person said: Uh uh uh ah ah ah, etc etc.

The high-pitched whining sound that mosquitoes make is created by the very rapid beating of their tiny wings. Strangely enough, each species has a slightly different frequency that it beats at, and in some areas it is possible to identify the species of mosquito by the pitch of their whining wingbeats.
Monkeys vary considerably in their vocalizations. Howler monkeys are amongst the loudest, able to make booming whoops that can be heard miles away. Most monkey species have a whole repertoire of different calls and sounds they make, depending on what they're trying to communicate. Shrieks, moans, chatters, titters, whistles, whoops, yelps, hisses, and barks could all be used by the same monkey over the course of a day.
The monkey sounds heard in the stereotypical 'jungle movie' soundtrack are usually not monkeys, however. Often, the calls of birds, particularily the pie-billed grebe, and the Australian kookaburra are used to create what the average movie-goer now considers a 'monkey call'.
